Will there be any changes to the base game that I'll miss out on because I already own the first printing?
The short answer is “no.” We are planning on altering the text for a few cards for clarity, but we will include these cards as a bonus in one of the Adventure Packs that comes with this Kickstarter. We may also update the rulebook with a few tweaks, but we will put all of the rules clarifications on Updated Rules Cards that will also be included in one of the Adventure Packs.

Will I receive the Stretch Goals that were unlocked during the first "Dungeon Alliance" Kickstarter Campaign?
Everything that was unlocked for the “Dungeon Alliance: Champions” expansion during the first campaign is now part of the expansion you can order through this campaign. The one element that is not included are the Alternate Art Hero Cards, which do not affect gameplay.

Will there be a Pledge Manager? Will you be allowing late pledges?
We will be using BackerKit as our Pledge Manager, and you will be able to upgrade your pledge after the campaign, as long as you have pledged at least $25 before the end of the campaign.
Regarding late pledges and the ability to increase $1 - $24 pledges, we have not reached a decision yet. For our previous campaigns, we did not allow this, but we will be keeping a close eye on this campaign and inform everyone once we have reached a final decision.

If I bought the "Dungeon Alliance" base game from a retail venue, what package will catch me up to everything?
If you did not participate in the first Kickstarter, then the “Explorers” package ($50) will get you the retail version of the “Dungeon Alliance: Champions” expansion that was offered during the first campaign, as well as the new Adventure Packs being offered as part of this campaign.
You can also add $50 for a Painted Miniatures Set and/or $30 for the Dungeon Frame Playmats, if you wish.

I am interested in an item that is not listed in my preferred package. What should I do?
You can add just about every item* in the campaign in as many quantities as you like to any package of your choice. We won’t add anything to your shipping fee for these extra items. Please check out the Add-Ons section on the main Campaign Page for the details and costs of each Add-On.

Do the Adventure Packs add a win/loss condition to the solo/co-op game, or must I continue to play with the Quest Cards to play with such conditions?
We have designed the Adventure Packs to work with or without the Quest Cards at your discretion. When playing solo/co-op with the Adventure Packs (regardless of whether or not you play with the Quest Cards), we have changed the win condition to achieving a certain number of Campaign Tokens based upon your chosen level of difficulty. The only way to earn Campaign Tokens in solo/co-op is by completing Quest Cards and by completing the conditions listed on the Campaign Cards in the Adventure Packs.

What are the dimensions of the Dungeon Frame Playmats? Will I be able to fit them in the base game box?
The “Solo / 2 Player” mat is 370mm X 550mm (14.6” X 21.7”). The “3 Player / 4 Player” Mat is 550mm X 550mm (21.7” X 21.7”). Although you can roll them up, you will probably need to store them separately, as they are not likely to fit in the base game box.

Shipping to my country seems prohibitively expensive. Do I have any options to reduce my shipping cost?
Please consider gathering allies and ordering the “Monstrous Horde” package, which provides six copies of the base game and six sets of the Adventure Packs for $540, shipping anywhere in the world with no additional shipping charges. This will average $10 shipping per backer.
If you have multiple backers who aren’t interested in the base game, then please feel free to add as many Add-Ons as you like to your package, and we will not increase your base shipping cost for these added items.
Please also consider inviting your local brick and mortar game store to pledge for the “Masters of the Dungeon Package,” which is a great deal for the store because they get a lot of products for less than wholesale cost (i.e. less than 50% retail cost). For $250 + shipping, they receive 4 copies of the base game, 4 copies of the “Champions” expansion, 4 complete sets of Adventure Packs, and 1 set of painted miniatures. You can then work out your personal cost for ordering the game with your store.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
